This tutorial was made with an A112 airbrush from prince august and Raphael paintbrush (size 1 and 0).

Lets begin!

1. I first primed the bases in black and did a preshading with a can of white. It will help me with to apply my next colors and add some depth and variety to the floor.

2. Airbrush the base with a 2/1 mix of White and Violet Rouge.

3. Then airbrush the base with pure Violet Rouge, focusing on the areas between the large slabs.

4. I then airbrushed the liquid areas in sunset red. You can use a paintbrush for this step but it’s faster with an aribrush.

5. Apply a shade of Druuchi Violet in the recesses

6. basecoat the skulls and bone spikes in Rakarth Flesh and the metal parts in Retributor Gold.
Apply a shade of Agrax Earthshade on everything!

7. With a 1/1 of white and Cadian Fleshtone, I highlighted the skulls and bone spikes. Add a few dots and thin lines to make some battle damage.  Add dots of white on the bubbles of the pink liquid.

8. The stone was highlighted with a 3/1 mix of white and Rouge Violet on the lighter areas and a pure a 2/1 mix of the same colours for the rest. As in the previous step, you can add dots and line to represent the battle damages.

Apply a first layer of Still water on the liquid areas. Be patient, it usually take at least 24 hours for the texture to dry.

9. Finish the gold with a highlight of Silver

Apply and second and a third layer of Still water in the liquid areas. Don't forget to let it dry at least one day between each layer.

It may seems long but it gives a gorgeous glossy liquid look once it's done !

And voilà, I hope it was helpfull !
