This tutorial was made with Raphael paintbrushes (size 2, 1 and 0).

Let's start!

1. Prime the base in White. Then one area after the other start adding Agrax Earthshade. Quickly rince your brush and fade the colour to have a brighter area in the center of the slabs.

2. Repeat this process on the entire base to have a nice and quick dirty white!

3 and 4. Paint the skulls and bone spikes in black and the metal parts in Leadbelcher. Apply a shade of Nuln oil on the bars and cover the liquid areas underneath with 3-4 coats of Blood for the blood god!

5. The stone was edge highlighted with pure white. You can add dots and line to represent the battle damages.

Highlight the bars with Silver.

6. Start highlighting the skulls with Dark reaper. You can be messy with it, it will be the base for the next layers. For the spikes, draw rough lines from the top to the bottom.

7. Then add a Russ grey highlight on the proeminant area like the nose, the eyes socket and the top of the skull. Draw thiner lines on the spikes.

8. Add dots of Fenrisian grey in the center of the brighter areas and a few lines to represent battle damages. For the spikes, draw thin lines at the top.

9 and 10. Basecoat the flesh in celestra grey and apply a few shades to have a mixed and weird flesh colour. I started with Casandora yellow and while it was still fresh, I added some Druchii Violet on a few parts to finish with Carroburg Crimson around the spots and phalanx.

11 and 12. Highlight the flesh with a 2/1 mix of white and Violet rouge and apply a coat of gloss varnish once it's dry.

If you want to add a bit of colour on your bases, you can use a sponge and tap some Blood of the blood god on it!

And voilà, a quick and easy way to paint dirty white bases ! You can reproduce the first steps on miniatures. It works really well with Death Guard and old tanks for example!
